Two-tone ciborium in investment casting. On base sacred scenes representing the Nativity, the visit of the Three Wise Men and the shepherds visiting the Holy Family. This Catholic liturgical pyx is crafted from two-tone brass using the lost-wax casting technique. The base features sacred scenes depicting the Nativity of Jesus, the visit of the Magi, and the shepherds visiting the Holy Family. The pyx is a faithful replica of an original piece dating back to 1793, which was donated by a German goldsmith to the Custody of the Holy Land in Jerusalem. The model shown in the photograph is for illustrative purposes. All liturgical items are designed and produced in our artisan workshop. Modifications can be made to the existing designs and decorations, or entirely new projects can be developed based on the client’s preferences and wishes.
